Dublin to Belfast

We began at the national Gaelic Athletic Association museum at Croke Park where we learned about hurling and more about Gaelic football. Croke Park is also a concert venue and seats 82,500 people!! The national championships for hurling and Gaelic football as well as handball are held there. It was great listening to our tour guides, Sean and Sinead, and their great accents! ("Der are tirty-two counties in Eire")
They also showed us the awesome locker rooms that are the same for home and away teams, since it is the national arena and all should be equal. Sinead said when teams play in Manchester, the home locker room for Man U is awesome, and the visiting locker room is small, not terribly tidy, and dark...sports psychology at its finest! The kids were able to play some games to test athleticism before we headed to Belfast and into Northern Ireland. This would be an amazing stadium to experience for a game or concert!!
